Interesting, many of the people I talk to mention they delivered early for one reason or another...
When I originally went into labor it was two months early, but was for a medical reason.

[Link] | i just can't seem to get & stay motivated at work... (& I don't even have windows to see how beautiful it is outside!)
still swamped with fan film, the padawan, other obligations... work.
read the postings of a friend who'd "disappeared" for about a month & some of the links they put up... too funny & brings back lots of memories...
might just ponder & try to write a short bit about an observation here or there every day or few...
I'll see if I can do better ("try not, do or do not....")
i just haven't had much time of any kind recently... even fell asleep before the 3 year old last night...
meant to work from home for a while... couldn't get the vpn or other network parts I needed to access to cooperate... realized I couldn't keep my eyes open to even think straight about it... went to bed at *GASP* 9:28 - - - don't remember 9:30...

non-existent free time
moving (to a 3rd floor, no less)
washing machine repair (yes, I did it myself, without any real out of pocket cost either)
unpacking (swimming in a sea of boxes)
sick child
costumes/props for fan film
upcoming conventions
all the usual BS at work: endless projects & having to make things happen on little to no notice, putting out fires as they pop up...
no wonder I'm exhausted!

glad I'm relaxing while I work...
if I'm gonna take my predecessor's data & put it into a usable format, I need to get paid more... for something that SHOULD BE so simple to gather & import -> it's taken me the whole day to get it into "usable" placement... I'd hate to see how long it would take me if I was working on it from my office!!!

Send off for Anne was great & no one knew the other significance of that date... but I really didn't mind - it was Anne's night anyway & I enjoyed myself more on that night than I have on said day in years.
Lastly, no, I was not just bored while doodling with a Sharipe one day... the Star Wars logo lives permanently on my right forearm & has for a while now.... most of those who have seen it (with the unsurprising exception of my x) think it is really pretty frackin' awesome. Anne was very jealous of it & told me of how she knows someone who has the "spirit of Yoda" in white ink... sweet - I think I have seen a pic of that one floating around on the web someplace... Still working out the details for the new BSG logo - the black & red one (logo in black with red edging & red nebula "back-lighting")... if anyone has a copy of that WITHOUT the text, please let me know!

need some ideas here...
Okay, I have A BUNCH of stuff I need to sell. Normally, I'd go the garage sale or yard sale route with this stuff since there is so much of it... the only problem is: I have neither a garage nor a yard.
Selling: clothes (mine), kid's clothes (newborn - 2yrs), baby furniture, stroller, furniture, nick-nacks, movies, books, games, jewelry, toys, etc. ...
Like I said, too much for something like craigslist or amazon, etc. as it takes way too long to list everything, upload pics, & answer emails. Also, there might be the shipping whatever I sell factor.
Any ideas on what I can do to get this stuff sold... relatively soon?

good morning is an oxymoron...
It started out as a "lovely" day... (I'm chalking it all up to the cold I'm fighting)... Knocked over my coffee while waiting on the bus (it was almost full)... SHOZBOT! My son kept telling me to clean it up off the sidewalk... Yeah, sure. Fighting a cold & facing caffeine withdrawal headache - just what I needed today. Thought about staying home... But my son's holiday party is today @ school & I have deadlines to meet... Grr. So when I went to get a refill on coffee I ended up getting a couple of breakfast tacos - I'd been good about avoiding them until someone I haven't seen for a while since they live out-of-state now mentioned them... *grin*
Frack this! I just wanna go home & go to bed; I can't keep my mind focused on work today...

okay, normally these days most stuff doesn't bother me... but good grief!
So I go to bowling tonight with my son... same as in previous weeks since it is part of the Star Wars Strike Force league....
This *guy* from another league that happens to be playing in the lanes next to our group just all of a sudden goes off on a rant to my 3-year-old.
What the frack?

things have been incredibly busy & hectic lately, so I know I haven't been keeping up with everyone like I should...
